Before her rein, the kingdom of what is now known as the Corrupt held several Nobel families that aided in the prosperity of the kingdom. When the Queen took the throne and began her heinous actions, two of these Nobles stood of their grounds to oppose her, Lord Sirlaryn and his lover and fiance Lady Cururav.
Sadly, the efforts were for naught, as they were caught and punished in perhaps one of the Queens most cruelest corruptions. The Lord and Lady were painfully and tortuously transformed, melded with fierce kings of felines and avian's, "gifted" with seemingly everlasting youth and life and left to be forever trapped within the Dungeon together. As the kingdom fell, the lovers managed to free of their bonds and roamed the ruins of the dungeon together once again. However, the Queen had a form of foresight of this, and though free, the jeweled bands upon their bodies are cursed to keep the Lord and Lady from showing any sign of affection to one another, not single heartfelt embrace nor touch of the loves hand to their cheek, perhaps the most cruel action the queen has ever taken in or after life.
Despite her "corrupt" form of her body, Lady Cururav kept of her heart and soul refusing the ways of the Dungeon and her unwanted Queen. Like her love, she stands against the ways of the Dungeon, striking away the evil creatures while trying to provide saving grace to the brave or poor souls who wander it. She takes under her wing, little jest intended, the ones already corrupt by the dungeon with her lover to try and reeducate to at least have some form of salvation from being turned to mere beasts and carnal slaves. Over time, Cururav and Sirlaryn discovered a way about the queens curse, with a willing other, they can show their love with the recipient acting as a "midway" between them, though they try to avoid this as it could cause duress upon the servants they have gathered to the ways back to corruption, a fact they would not wish to risk for just the sake of their love
