So remember that badge piece I posted a couple weeks ago? (*cough* http://www.furaffinity.net/view/9104274/ *cough*)
Here's the finished badge that it goes with! ^^
While I only have the pink ninjetti ranger cosplay, I wanted to still make a badge of Clemi as her own version of a ninjetti power ranger. So voila! The Green Ninjetti Kinkajou Ranger. The base design of the ranger outfits was used, and after going back and forth for about 2 days on what color she should be I settled down to two and this one really made the most sense. Ranger colors have always been bright and vibrant and Clemi nearly always wears green. So this is just perfect :D
So once again, the theme for MFF is "It Came From TV" and I started to think about different ways to incorporate television into a badge. There were quite a few ideas that I tossed around and I'm actually rather sad that a few of them I just didn't have enough time for them... but when I thought about shows from my childhood that I really loved Power Rangers was definitely one of them.
Anyways enjoy guys! Hope to see ya at MFF ^^

Technically, the Ninjetti theme and costumes were used for the first Power Rangers Movie, which were adapted from the Sentai series "Ninja Sentai Kakuranger" to be used in part as a "Bridge" between Mighty Morphin' and Power Rangers Zeo.
But, all that aside, this is a very good rendition of a Green Ninjetti ranger! You did fantastic work, and as a oft-times fan of the whole PR series I think you did them justice. ^_^
Thanks for sharing!

I know they were used for the first movie, they also had a few episodes on television as well with the ninjetti line. The background behind it was different, the outfits slightly modified as well, but it was still on TV. It was the basis for season 3, the second being with the Thunderzords. ^^
Truth be told, I was a bit miffed with Power Rangers after the start, when they started hashing in Kakuranger and the "Alien Rangers", because they seemed to be ignoring the roots of the original shows to suit themselves.
This was more confirmed when they didn't adapt the "death" of the Green Ranger from the original Sentai series they comped Mighty Morphin' from, and again when Blue Ranger's "death" was also omitted from Wild Force.
But, seeing how they handled the story lines in future PR series -- Lost Galaxy, SPD, Jungle Fury, etc. -- I've somewhat forgiven them. I was even surprised they did a nod to the series that spawned "Dino Thunder", by showing the American teens watching an episode of the original Japanese series on TV.
Will be interesting to see the new series that follows "Samurai".

I admit when I first got the internet and started looking around at power rangers stuff online, I was utterly shocked that they were using basically everything that came from Japan originally. I mean looking at it, you knew it was influenced, but I didn't realize just how much of it is basically just moved over and used the same. Some of the storylines in the middle had me kinda pulling away, but there were definitely some that grabbed me back, Wild Force being one of the firsts, and Jungle Fury later on more seriously.
