This is a commission for

Of his character Sarah trying to teach Gem some ballet moves. gem is concentrating really REALLY hard and thinks shes copying sarah as a result.

As a side note, when I concentrate really really hard, Gems expression is very similar to what I do in real life LOL

This reminds me of when my little sister was taking ballet lessons, except she was about four or five, and wanted to be dancing like a pro, with a tutu and everything, when she didn't even know the basics!

really... it might be that all the lines art the same width, normally i use the pen tool in sai but recently ive been using the ink tool instead.

but different line widths give the image more dynamic! Don't understand me wrong your drawing is cute as always but I think it is a step backwards if you continue this style.

Not really, this style looks a little cleaner, but the other one felt more like a little cub was drawing it

heheh im not sure i entirely agree with you there, a number of my most recent drawings have been done like this and no-one has complained. Im just trying different things I have a number of different styles that I chop and change around depending on how i feel.

I'd say this looks far better for pictures like this, where there's a background and things other than just the subject(s). However, the different sizes looks better for things like badges, as it gives it a bit of a roughed in look. Just my opinion though :P
