After Hasim gets all brushed out and suitable accessories have been selected it is off to work! I'm happy with this piece for several reasons. One, I thought the lighting on the figure and the room worked out very nicely. Two, I'm rather happy with how the bed/ couch came out. It's rather
charming 4ft long thing, and the I'm happy how the tassles on the pillows worked out. Also the gold leafing on the figures worked pretty well. I just wished I'd done a better job on the sky and the gauzy drapes. Sigh. Do better next time!

The city of Andur is on a bay near the tip of the horn of Africa, roughly where Mogadishu is in the real world. (The bay, incidentally, is unique to that world, and is probably a geologically recent impact crater, which raises some interesting questions.)
