You don't need a 3d monitor to view anaglyph (red/blue) 3d images, just a good set of anaglyph glasses. Most of the effect centers around the subject's legs, where there is the most red/blue. Keep in mind that the brain, being highly attuned to seeing depth, can perceive it even when the cues are very sparse.

not at all!! i think it is super super cool you looked at it with your glasses, that is way awesome and flattering! i have actually been looking at getting some anaglyph glasses (although i thought i needed a spiffy monitor too? woops!) because to make my art legitimately 3d would be really intense and awesome!!
