Because next to foxes and raccoons, mice and rats are one of the most notorious species of "thieving" animals? And, then of course, there's stuff like 'The Great Mouse Detective', and 'Chip'N'Dale's Rescue Rangers', 'Secret Of Nihm', and as someone else has already noted 'Danger Mouse' and 'The Rescuers', giving several points of view on how quick and clever mice and rats can be. Surprisingly, though, I've only ever seen one picture of a Ninja Mouse, and Ms. Mowz from Paper Mario is the only mouse thief I know of. That aside, awesome picture. ^_^
