It certianly depends on the game though, I know I have been prone to do such playing World of Tanks after being one shotted by a tank I couldnt see on the map (or saying such to opposing SPG players).

I know that feeling all too well x.x Especally when you are the first to die from a shot from an enemy SPG that you KNOW didn't have sight on you... If for little reason other than you've only just moved out of your team's starting area.

Yes that is mainly when I spout off here granted those are usually in matches where I am on the bottom of the match list so it is to be expected I wouldnt last long to begin with but a few times it happened when I was on the middle or top of the list then I really let the other team have it, before exiting to the garage.

Actually, from what they can tell about raptors, its not so much super distance vision as super-sensitivity to motion... which would indeed be useful in certain games. I have no idea about their reflex capability, however.

also, lets just call it a handicap, not cheating... after all, his acuity is balanced by the fact that he is using talonhands on a controller with human ergonomics... you try a game with long, thick claws, and long fingers with a few too many joints, with thick padding on the tips... much adjustment needed.

There's a bit of both. Not only motion sensitivity, but also significantly increased "refresh rate" (officially called Flicker Fusion Frequency), as well as a greater level of detail at a given distance, due to a much greater cone/rod density. It's not the "8 times" that's often touted about(that's a strict multiplication based on density ratios) but they generally figure that the actual vision is about 2-3 times better at a given distance.

Avians are just superior to us.

This one time... not at band camp X3... I was playing an online game with my computer. One thing you have to understand about my internet is that it is VERY slow during online gaming and is very annoying for me. This was the first time it helped me, however! The lag actually only affected other players on my server, so I was able to kill them a few seconds before they even saw me :D Needless to say, I was banned for hacking. I laughed my butt off!

This other time I had a really good connection at a friends house, and since I was very used to having to react faster because of lag, I was dominating!

BTW: I am not a hardcore gamer, I do not really get into them

Wait, how would super human focus/vision, help when playing on a tv/computer monitor? The resolution on it wouldn't be changed even if you did get a vision increase.

1280x720 is all the resolution it has. Making it bigger doesn't make it any clearer.

But I had it when I did have a system where I would aim at their head with a shotgun, right behind. Shoot and they wouldn't die. BUT they would be half that map away and shoot a shot gun and kill me in one shot. I hated that
