Time flies! And so do zebras, apparantly.

Got a mail from a zoo asking to replace the coloring pages I did for them aaaages ago, back when I was in high school, and got reminded of this!

This is from 2006, so I was 16 when I drew this. As you can see I didn't learn to ink with a brush yet so I did it with a blue ballpoint pen instead, haha. Considering how bad most of my pictures from that time were, I still actually like this picture a lot. I had a really hard time drawing those zebras back then!

I did pictures like these as volunteer work for the zoo, and in return I got a volunteer card which got me free entrance in almost every zoo in the Netherlands (and also often abroad). Since I went to the zoo almost every week back then, it was a pretty good deal! My volunteer work is also what eventually lead to me doing professional jobs for various cool places, and I still like doing volunteer work pretty often :)

Sorry for posting a Christmas-related picture already, it's just that the Saint Nicholas picture I did really sucks! Feel free to color it if you're really bored ;)
