I'd clean it out but, I figure when my number gets high enough some kind of gateway will open and I can learn magic or somethin'

I don't understand how people cannot clean out their inboxes D:

I used to go through it every day and clean it out, then I kind of hit a "down state" and did not bother with much of anything except writing to keep my mind busy. By the time I got back I had around 2K submissions, I at first tried to go through them one page at a time and then decided "Let's crank this to 11" and the rest is history!

I plan to actually wait till I hit 100K and then purge it.

My inbox is like an episode of "Hoarders."
