Well as i stated in a previous journal. I recently finished Bowser's Inside Story and i REALLY wanted to see an image of Bowser enjoying his cake at the end. Was quite disappointed that they never showed anything and just left it to the imagination.... so i did this ^^
Hopefully i did it justice. But most important, hope that YOU enjoy it ^0^

Something tells me that there were simmilar plans with Mario64, but they wanted to keep that ambigous for being a double entendre, so older players can excuse it, why Mario keeps rescuing peach :p In what context this works for Bowser tho... I will leave that one up to you x3
Also: In with it before someone else does it: The cake is clearly... NOT... a lie... *still mad about that reference in Castlevania LoS >:(*
Regardless: Very nice picture there, mate <3 Very lovely detail-work ^.^

Allow me to dig up that particular part *jumps into a pile of garbage behind and pulls out a note pad*
Okay, picture yourself the following scenario: The hero stands ontop of almost entirely broken ruins along a mountainpath in the early sunset... the air is chilling, the sea is wild... the light is bright golden and blinding our protagonist on his difficult course across what broken pillars remain on his path to reach the Lycan lord. He has found numerous fallen brothers of his order, slain or otherwise dead... he read multiple last messages from each and every one of them. And here he is now, standing infront of an unpassable gate. He goes to search the area to find a mechanism to unlock his continuing path, until he finds yet another fallen knight. He kneels down and forms the cross infront of him in a silent prayer for his dead brother's soul before he takes on the scroll from his half rotten belt... And he reads...
"Last night I dreamt that a beautiful woman visited me in my dreams. She was bewitching, mesmerizing. She told me a warrior is coming, who will destroy the Lycan Lord and that she and her people will help him. She was the Queen of the Fairies and she spoke in a language I could not recognize, yet I understood every word she said. I will surely never look upon such beauty again in all this world. If I die this day, I die having seen and experienced things, no other man can lay claim to, and so I can happily declare that the 'Cake' is not a lie!"
*still facepalms over that*

Playing all of them in order would make understand or recognizing the cameos in the game more fun or understandable. But the game you might have a tougher time finding is the first, Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga because its for the GBA and those games and/on consoles are pretty much obsolete.
Hell I still have my copy of M&L: Saga but I cant play it on my dinosaur of a GBA because the screen is very dim/dark from age.

Not much of a fan of Bowser like many others, to be honest. ^^; I like him, but there are some things I'm not a fan of, but they're more or less minor. Bowser's Inside Story though did do one thing that made me like him a bit more though, and that was giving him a better personality. Depending on the games, he was either pretty much pure evil, or mostly comedy relief. Bowser's Inside Story managed to merge those two into a better personality, in my opinion.
The game itself is good, even though it was pretty much fetish fuel. Though, I kind of wish the main story was a bit more...challenging. It might be just me, but some of the boss battles (especially the final one) felt a bit easier than previous Mario & Luigi games to some extent, but at least it's not as tough as Partners in Time (good, but seriously tough). I do wonder if they're making a Mario & Luigi 4 though. It's possible.
I have not finished the Challenge Node though...and I dunno if I ever will. x_x
Right, the picture. My bad. You're more or less right. It was a bit disappointing, and who knows, maybe he didn't like the cake. Still was nice though that Peach made him one, despite his constant kidnapping and stuff, but I guess he did deserve it this time (was funny though that Mario and Luigi beat him up after the final boss though XD). Good job, Juano. ^^

...I knew people would probably get maybe a stiffy to it, but I didn't think people would go that far, but I wouldn't be surprised. ^^;
I won't say lovable, but it was definitely nice to play as a completely different character this time around. They did a pretty good job. XP Although, I kind of wonder if that'll be the last time Bowser would be playable like that in an RPG. Judging from a little something within BIS, it might not be, but we'll see what happens.

All the Mario & Luigi games felt way too easy for me. Even without using gear/badges that increase your damage. It could be that the game was just easy to be enjoyable or Im just too good at it.
And Bowser being "pure evil"? I never looked at him that. He's never done anything too "overly evil" like say, the bad guys in entire Mario & Luigi games.

Well, I'm kind of going by experience, but you're more or less right. It's just that Superstar Saga for example had some challenge going on for a while, but once you reached a certain level and mastered certain Bros. Attacks (especially the Swing Bros., which does some serious damage), even the final boss can be taken out in a couple of minutes.
Partners in Time wasn't too hard, but it was one of the more challenging of the three. Though I guess most of it came from the enemies/bosses having extremely high HP (plus you had to do extra things while battling) and having to rely on the babies to do extra damage. Though it might've been a case of me being under leveled too (I think I was close to Lv. 30 when I beat the game).
Well, maybe not "pure" evil, but still evil at least. It's just that in some games like in the Galaxy series, Brawl, and I guess 64 to some extent, he was a really intimidating character, but in other games like most of the RPGs and a couple of sport titles, you couldn't exactly take him seriously, especially if he does things like cry or do something stupid. Kind of understandable depending on the game, but it still came off as weird.
But you're right, the main baddies in the Mario & Luigi franchise are much, much more evil than Bowser.

That wouldn't happen to be a cake by the name of Raspberry Bundt would it, ha ha?
Cookie if you get the reference
I liked Bowser's Inside Story, although I kinda wanted to head slap Mario and Luigi at the end though.
Always happy to see Big Bow get some luvin.
