It took me a while to get round to working on this image again, because I had a lot of other things on my plate.
This is a european hare [species was not available in list] standing amongst the branches of a lichen-encrusted oak. I've taken a lot of creative licence with the anatomy but elsewhere I have been accurate; the ivy is in bloom for instance.
I achieved this image with several different media, including biro [ballpoint] pen, pencils and the watered-down ink from fineliners.
Image was taken under dull electrical lights, I may yet add background colour or shoot some better photos in the day time.
