My Aunt's husband died last Sunday, and all this week since I've been in MO with my mom and cousin, I've been trying to think of something I could make her that would make her smile. I got to look at her collection of sea shells that she collects each time she travels to exotic places, and instantly got the idea for a hermit crab. I rushed into the basement, found some fuzzy pipe cleaners and went to work! I love the result, it's the first time I've made anything like this, and I'm rather proud of it. It was very simple to make and only took about 15 minutes. I wanted to make sure he would stay in the shell and everything.
