No longer available!
I wasn't planning on selling these for DIY projects, but some financial problems got in the way :( My loss is your gain! For a limited time I'm offering these resin bird beaks :> See below for pricing options!
Here's a larger picture of the unpainted ones: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/8363631/
More info:
-They are made with Smooth-On 300, a type of plastic.
-I can offer them in white and gray (specify light gray or dark).
-You can paint them with Krylon plastic spray paint, available at many hardware stores in a variety of colors.
-Moving-jaw compatible!
-Less than 10 oz (280g)
Pricing:
50 uncut, right out of the mold
+15 cut, sanded
+20 Apoxie Sculpt on lower jaw (this evens it out and makes it look a lot nicer, many resin masks need "lips" of some sort to smooth out a slush-casted edge)
+10 primed (one flat color, Krylon spray paint so color selection is somewhat limited)
+15 simple paint job + sealed (thin colors like red, yellow or complicated fades/markings are extra)
Shipping is $10 to most North American destinations. Pricing is in Canadian dollars and I accept PayPal only :)

It's better to paint and varnish/seal them first and once that's done you can stick them onto your head base with regular old hot glue (the plastic is heat-formable, so hot temp glue sticks very well to it).
Everyone's bases are different so the application changes a little sometimes, but the basic idea is that mine are foam/balaclava if there are little gaps here and there you can fill in the spaces with more foam. If the beak is too wiggly, you can brace them with all sorts of things like foamies, nylon webbing, etc. In retrospect I wish I'd taken pictures of the mask without any tape on to give clearer instructions!

Yeah, that's cool! I've got a few people asking me to "hold" some for a week or few and I don't mind. I said "limited time" so people don't like, expect me to still be doing forever :P
Hit me up at wolfbird[at]gmail.com to make it official (include your ZIP and what color/what sort of options you want!).

oh noooo there needs to be more moonkin! Which race were you making? :3 (pls let it be troll, lol)
TBH I can (probably) make some exceptions provided that people don't mind waiting a wee bit for production and I get enough interest (they're best done in groups, I hate having to unpack everything/clean up just to make one or two). I've had a few people ask to "hold" some, I'm not totally adverse to bending the rules a little and I could use always use a little extra spending money :>
