This is her cat character, Shay! Who is very very pretty! She requested the background be either spacy or with floral/leaves....SO I DID BOTH.
Translucent wings are hard to paint and keep clean with watercolors > BAW.
I tried a new technique in which I took watercolor pencils and sketched over some painted bits to give it more texture! I like it but I'm going to have to figure out a balance with them.
