Background: Born on Malastare, Rom had a somewhat privilaged life until he went to the Imperial Naval Academy to become a fighter pilot. He was trained by Baron Soontir Fel in the ways of the TIE Fighter and became a skilled marksman in battle. He was promoted to Squad Leader right out of the academy. But one day, he and his squadron were ordered to destroy a supposed rebel medical transport, later discovering that the transport they took out was actually a civilian medical shuttle. Rom defected to the Rebel Alliance after this discovery. Many in the Alliance dislike Worsh due to the civvie casualties he caused as an Imperial, but Afyon Essada overlooked these facts and assigned him in Grey Squadron. Rom Worsh now serves as the pilot of Grey 3.
