Back to Pokemon, my first one caught in Ruby ^^.
I'm having fun with drawing all of these different shapes in order to create such a sketch. The universe of Pokemon really does feel like a good place to start with basic drawing. Also in landscape style, because you have to switch things up a bit here and there =p.
This marks the end of the notepad I found. I've since moved on to a small sketchbook and a 2B pencil for more practice.
Made with a random notepad and HB pencil. Amateurly scanned and edited with GIMP.

You're actually pretty good at drawing Pokemon.
Drawing simple animated creatures is a great way to start getting good at drawing. I started on the level of drawing Kirby, time and time again, eventually giving the characters more and more complex features over time.
Take my B.O.C.B's for instance; they used to look just like kirby, but with blockier feet, constantly closed eyes, and they were tan colored.
