Here's a commission that I just completed this afternoon. An outdoorsey Arctic Fox invites us all to explore the beauty of Alaska. I really enjoyed doing the border on this one. It's based on Tlingit tribes beautiful graphic art. 16 x20 ink and watercolour on illustration board. Prints available.

I love your work, it's always so detailed.

I love the background on this one.. just makes me wanna grab her paws and run up the hill :). I love to climb mountains. and that's not a code word for sex. I actually like mountain climbing :P

wow n.n i wish i could go there actually . . . .O.O the aurora borealis has just amased me to no end n.n and with a pretty guide like that . . well im sold LOL
and yes the border is really cool n.n nice neat and uniform design n.n

This is quite a lovely painting. I really like how you did the trees.

I was just in Alaska a few weeks ago. I wish she could have been with me. =) Backpacking in the mountains alone was a little lonely, though no less beautiful.

I don't recall seeing anything from the board of tourism that looked quite that good in cut-off shorts before *grin*

I also like the coloring of the eagle as well. The composition and color of the bald eagle balance that corner nicely.

lady, landscape, composition... I wished they would use pictures as such for "Jack Wolfskin" ads. it would make much more sense with a brand name like that.

Somewhere with proper snow, at last. And what better guide than a white furred fox? Being a fan of anatomy, I especially like the black paw pads on her. :)

No. It was a commission of this gentleman's character. He choose the scene and theme. I just painted it. Though it does fit in nicely with the theme:)

I love the Tlingit tribe's art and stories. I studied them for my anthropology course and I've been enjoying their art for years. I hope to someday venture up that way and see the totem poles and such first hand. Gorgeous work on your part, too. :)
