About three months ago, I'd posted my second rendering of 'Gery' the Water Dragon - a wonderful creation of "FA" regular 
ScottC - this time teamed up with one of my characters, 'Hyrum' the Hyena. You can still see this image at http://www.furaffinity.net/view/8669792/ .
Like most works of art, I began with a 'rough draft' in the form of a 'doodle', drawn (in this situation) on a brown paper towel with regular pen ink - with the disadvantage of not even having any images of 'Gery' in front of me, when I drew him. (I just barely remembered his long, drooping ears and hair on top of his head.)
As part of my "Fat Furry Doodle" series for 'sweeps month' (November, 2012), I thought I'd post said fan art from the paper towel. Please excuse the wrinkles, as it was hard to smooth most of them out on my scanner.
