So I started my Nuzlocke play-through about two months back and this was my chosen Pokemon. A Torchic that turned out to be female!

I felt so lucky and thought hard about a name. Hestia came up, as it is a name for a Greek Goddess that means 'Hearth' or 'Fireside'. She was worshiped as a domestic or household god. It seemed to fit nicely.
I went to a local art shop and purchased a small sketch pad and 2B pencil for this; I like the way the softer lead made for easier rubbing out of mistakes. I had some advice on drawing from my good friend  knightmere to, which helped me smooth things out a good deal. This is also a small step away from sight tracing. I was still scrutinizing a large sample of pics when drawing this but not copying any one pose in particular.

At any rate, Hestia and I shall be tearing up this challenge together. I hope to show everyone some day!
