I once had a fannypack that was part of my mandated work gear at the other ambulance company I worked at. . .
If we arrived on scene without them, the firefighters would be all like: "wheres your fannypack?"
my supervisor would be like "why dont you have your fannypack?"
and I would be like "but I do have my fannypack" then I realized they werent talking to me. . .X3

I... I just can't get past the name. And hell, I even OWN one!
If unnecessary, I situate mine on the hip, where the eponymous pack is suddenly transformed from "Fanny" into a "Holster".
I can live with a holster. Holsters don't threaten my fleeting sense of masculinity.
But, alas, you can't say that your holster is holster-tastic. It just doesn't have that same ring.
