A "poetic story" detailing a skirmish between a battle unit comprised of mortals and halfling angels and two broken angels, one of which was a powerful male adversary whom was slain in haste, which only served to bring doom and misfortune to the supposed "victors." The leader of the unit tells this "story" in hindsight, as he had yet survived the massacre that came upon his home to hear what the female of the two angels had to say on the matter. It's a spin on carrying on a poetic flow of words in a style similar to a sort of narrative, and I am very proud of the result! :D
Reposted to this account on account of how "poetically satisfactory" the end result is to me.
Written in somewhere over 30 minutes, as I was often at odds with how to end the final stanza.
