I have a coconut octopus picked out as the specific species, and the starfish I have is semi-photo realistic, so not sure if I want the octopus friend near it to be the same, or something like what you have done here. oh my lord that is GORGEOUS! hmmm if you want somethin' realistic that's a bit out of my area. my mom usually does a bunch of awesome realistic tattoo work. I really want her on this site buuuuuuut on the other hand i kinda don't xD

totaly understand. And thanks. My Tattoo artist is AMAZING. He draws celtic knots by hand, completely from scratch. It;s insane! Even though he had a pic of my necklace he still chose to draw it himself a little different and original so that I could wear the necklace still and it wouldn't look the same. I am a SUPER colorful person, so hence the non realistic colors of the starfish, it's my most multicolored tattoo. The teal was just a good color, and the sea foam hi-lights were for my mom cause she wanted me to get the WHOLE starfish sea foam (I vetoed that) I like purple, and actually the original shading was done in purple NOT black and grey, so it adds a different kind of dimension. If I had left it as just a black and grey, or rather purple and grey it STILL would have been stunning. And then we chose the gold for the spikies. It was just perfect and still is.
