Working on my drawing without contour lines.
It's harder work, but I like the end result.
When I start bodybuilding, I'm totally gonna dress up as Noir. ;u;

This is a piece absolutely worthy of at least some opinion. And i must say, this is amazing to view since it does not include contour lines.
The background is the first thing that I would like to explain. It gives a dreary feel as if he is in either a dark cave, rigorously training, or some other blackened atmosphere that includes such a scene or depiction. Ironically, I notice that the ground almost personifies a ying-yang symbol, albeit if it wasn't intentional. The dark background helps to bring the character into the foreground, which helps you draw you eyes to the minute details on the piece such as the gradient of color on the back of his garments and such.
His clothing in question is one of earthy tones, which to me symbolizes balance but strength. He is honed. Conditioned to assault where need be. His clothing is a dark hue that is similar to his fur color. It gives a view as if you want the viewer to look and pay attention more to his facial gesture rather than his attire. In conclusion to his clothing, it is very dynamically drawn, which aides in displaying a sense of motion in a wonderful way. And that is by horizontal motion. Because of his clothing's direction of movement, you can even picture what direction he is moving to.
His posture is an interesting one to view. It is symbolic of some of the video game postures that include some sort of signature move, but yours is a tad prehensile. Its almost as if he is intending to grab something, as indicated by his flexed fingers toward his palm. Of course, he is probably just performing a martial art-related posture that indicates a next move. But regardless of how this is interpreted, the posture helps to display the rigidity of the character, and the emotion is aided by this posture of his.
I would like to point out the face in question. It is distressingly forced. This is a good thing considering his posture and the background. If it were any other type of facial expression, it wouldn't fit with the picture, and throw the viewer off until he examined the piece in a more serious observation. The force of his facial features is one of such strain that it obviously displays a sense of adept focus and will. It helps the viewer understand his emotion he is trying to portray because of his deep sanguine-colored eyes as well.
The eyes to me are displaying a dim passion of hope and drive, even if they are void of any actual high detail. But the thought that comes to mind is that, in regards to the eyes, he is trying to accomplish a certain task that needs full focus, full contact, and absolute determination.
Finally, let me discuss your choice of removing the contour lines. I must say that this piece in question is probably one of your best pieces because of you thinking so differently. The lines make the character turn into a sort of cartoon-like state, as with any comic or picture that includes the lines. But when they are diminished or taken out completely, the character develops a sense of actual dimension that can be viewed as realistic. Though it is only pixel art, the look of the character almost seems realistic enough to grasp. And if you can accomplish such a feat as to say that you make the audience envision grasping the character or using one of their senses to gain additional appreciation for the piece, you have accomplished what few artists can do. Even if this is a small piece in regards to actual composition (meaning, it almost looks chibi, but is not). Now, if it were a more advanced piece such as your first two submissions, and it didn't have contour lines, it would give a very good sense of dimension and spatial reference.

very nicely done, bud :D it's always exciting to know how much you enjoy, or at least don't mind, trying something new, which, alone, says alot about you as an aspiring artist =]
very respectable for you to be so open to seeing what else you can try your hand at! It's always such a pleasure to see what you've done next~ Very awesome piece!
Also, how interesting that you're willing to take up bodybuilding at some point. Should I get to a reasonable size myself at some point, I'd totally attempt to dress like Noir, too, bahaha!
