You can trust him, he's a doctor.
It's McKay from Nordguard! You might have seen him running around Midwest Furfest this weekend! If not, expect to see him at FurtherConfusion in January!
See some more photos of him, here!

I found out what this is. Its an HBT M40.
Didn't see the lower pleat patches for the pockets, which are on. There are no holes for the internal suspenders at the sides or rear, only done on the HBT tunics. The shoulder boards are the only thing wool, hence it doesn't have that "gleam" fabric look of HBT. Buttons are painted a different color from the grey, but oh well.
Being a reenactor, you get warm in wool pretty fast, I dont blame you for opting cotton in place for it when actively suiting.

I thought it was of German make xD didnt even think of the HTB line hurps. funny thing it was the shoulder boards that tipped me more than anything.
Im a reenactor as well but I'm daring and do wool when I suit which is a horrible life desicion because hal the time after a certain point you dont even realize how hot you are.
Poor life choices lol xD

My group would go out in 95 degree weather in full gear and these wool tunics. We dont accept HBT jackets as our impression shown that we weren't ever issued them. We sweat it out in the sun for hours until we run out of water, then thats pretty much the fun of it.
The only place this tunic matches in exactly quality is Hessan Antique, which is possibly where she got it from (or from ebay).

Well, traditionally, the kind of alcohol that was in the keg tied to the St. Bernard's neck was brandy. This alcohol, when consumed, helped prevent/slow down the affects of frost bite. It also came in quite handy for the avalanche victims and hikers who were often subject to extreme frostbite.
So, you could understand my curiousity when I saw Officer McKay with a bottle of Scotch.

I was there for the full five days and I did not see such a suit no matter when I was out and about. Musta missed it every time ya' had it out. Maybe it was the one time I helped someone show off one of their suits, or when drunks wandered into our room when the door was open.
