I think I saw a documentary about those feathers-on-the-legs critters once. It was neat.
Ah, layer-merging. I learned the hard way about digital files. Now I save the original all-layers document alongside the final .jpg (or whatever format) that I post. Only took a few dozen times of, "Oh, crap...I need to change X but all I've got is the single-layer file."
