Tassle Marie, a little husky/wolf hybrid girl, clutches the Book of Spells (which is exactly what it sounds like). There is only one copy and it contains many secrets passed down through her family (who are almost all witches and warlocks).

There are two adults fighting over her, a fish-man named Del Marina and a coyote-woman named Silva Noir. She doesn't know who to think of as an enemy, and who to trust as a friend.... only that those two are enemies of eachother.
