I got a new camera and have a bunch of Ceramics stuff sitting around that needs documenting, so here you go!

Halfway through the semester I was taking Ceramics, I dropped another course that had been making me want tot pull out my teeth with a claw hammer. I had a lot of stress go away, so I was able to settle down and do some slightly more serious work.

We were required to make a historical vessel depicting a contemporary narrative, so I built an amphora (a Greek vessel) and used my transition from music to crafts as a narrative.

Things like this are difficult to photograph; there's never a good angle to get all the details and I don't have all the tricks at my disposal that actual photographers do. But you can get the general idea of it from these pictures, hopefully.

Edit: When I was talking about this in the critique, I found out from someone else who had done a Greek-style narrative that, traditionally, female figures are supposed to be white. A black figure is considered masculine. Given my general nature, I don't think I made that much of an error.
