And the tiny white border isnt that noticable uvu
What program do you use?
For SAI: draw picture over the base layer. When finished erase base layer/delete it! SaveAs .png and pixels have own opacity.
BAM TRANSPARENT!!
Photoshop: ugly checkerboard transparent bg, put a layer of WHITE or perferred base color over bg. Draw pocture over those layers. When finished, remov 'paper'/base layer. Save as .Png with pixels having own opacity!!

Your style is amazing to me.
It reminds me of a slightly modernized good ol' fashioned animation style. I can't quite put my finger on it. Garfield is close to what I'm getting at but, maybe not fully there.
