But I'm sorry if manual is ununderstandable because I'm not good at English.

ive clicked the program and it just comes up saying "foodstuffer has stopped working" even if i run it as an administrator. its the same way... i suspect its most likely this laptop. having tried it on a desktop my brother has it worked fine and smoothly. though i agree with
ravenworks comment of the fattening not coming till after the round is won to be too bad. the music is nice and sounds smooth. though the AI on easy seemed to be perhaps a touch too easy. graphics wise its a vast improvement. unfortunately it didn't hold my interest long enough to make it through stage 4. overall it was good. but its not something i think i would play through all the way. if it was able to run on this laptop i would perhaps play it more. i hope i have not been too hard with my critique of this game.

Hi there!
I tried to play your game, but I too am having trouble!
Handy as i'm a developer, though without source I can't help too much; however the error i'm getting is as follows:
System.IO.FileNotFoundException was unhandled
Message: The specified module could not be found. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007007E)
I got this by extracting the contents of the zip file to a directory and trying to run the exe.
Let me know if you track down the bug! I would like to play.

Oh wow, a new game!!<3
Very nice, it seems to work well :D It's been a long time since I've played Columns, I forgot how fun it is :)
The monsters are cute as always! And the music is good :) (Although there seems to be a big pause after the first song?)
Is there no fattening of the characters until the entire round is over? Too bad ;)
I think there needs to be a way to see the whole piece as it's entering the screen, if the player forgets to look at the 'next' box before placing the last piece... I have to change the order three times (or drop it slightly) to see all the pieces to decide where it should go... maybe draw the piece over the frame instead of behind the frame?
Anyway, nice work, I'm glad to see you making games again :D

I'm thankful for your voluminous comment :D
>Although there seems to be a big pause after the first song?
It might be caused by closing(stopping) the music (especially first processing).
I have no idea about that cause, but the first seeking and so on are very slow.
>Is there no fattening of the characters until the entire round is over? Too bad ;)
Sorry, it was too many characters to draw that ;)
>I think there needs ... instead of behind the frame?
Okay. To tell the truth, I also have thought so ^_^;

Ah, I'm sorry, I think I explained wrong!
I mean like this: http://img.ravenworks.ca/foodstuffe.....rrentpiece.png
The piece that you're controlling, but you can't see all of it yet.
I thought maybe the piece you control could go over the game's frame (instead of behind the frame) but maybe there's still not enough room? Maybe 'next' could still show it until the entire piece is visible... but maybe now I'm making it too complex for nothing, sorry XD
Anyway, I think it's only a problem on 'Beginner' (on other speeds, the piece arrives so fast that there's no time to wonder XD) so it probably doesn't matter, but thank you for listening anyway :)

Um... I think I can't offer the game only here.

So, if you can't do from here, I'm sorry I have no idea any longer...

I tried to change a process around errors in that console.
Please try a new version from here:

But sorry, a virtual machine is not pure Windows environment, so I think it is lucky if this game can run in that...

*Assuming DX 9 was new enough.*

Also I had to move the exe to this folder.

I updated new version and added a new exe for check. (RunCheck.exe).

If you run RunCheck.exe and that does not output a message "Success.", sorry you cannot play the game and I cannot do anything...

You did your best, and that's all I can ask.
Also I found two things.

I have a Twitter account, but even my activity is not much.
Basically I use it for watching timeline now (sometimes I upload something...).
If you don't mind, my account is here.

Oh, wait, no, that was the OST I downloaded.
I'm still trying to download the game, but everytime I try to visit the url in the description it doesn't work.
Edit: clicked on your link that was in reply to Shad0wF0x13. I downloaded that, but everytime I try to run it it stops working.
*sigh* Oh well.

Well, for stage 2 of MADNESS! at least, the CPU literally plays knowing countless moves in advance, to the point where it just seemingly piles everything at the sides at first, then suddenly landing several combos and causing you to fail in under a minute, possibly under 30 seconds really.
