ha, man I owned a dream-cast, but I missed out by not playing space channel 5 (I'm bad at rhythm games anyways) same with the original jet set radio (though it didn't have the grinding and stuff of the newer iterations)

Jet Grind Radio, I can attest to being pretty boss, though I'll admit I wasn't introduced to Space Channel 5 until long after its day had passed (and in fact I still haven't played it). JSR still has fantastic-looking artistic elements; I can't think of many games that really nailed the pop art/cel-shaded kind of look that it did and did so well. The gameplay's actually somewhat limited, but between the visuals, the fun of exploring the levels, and the incredibly excellent soundtrack, I always found the game to be a blast.
