I like the design of the human ship. Kinda reminds me of Star Trek =3 Not sure is thats intentional, cause Ive never read the stories

i can see something like this actualy happening ... not this omg its a alien shoot it down rubbish ... it and thank you for actualy taking the tail into account for balance X3 i see so many people drawing animals as if that are human.

BTW: your dragon picture you recently finished i cant access it but a friend showed it to me and WOW stunning work ! great detail, actions, lighting and just stunning art overall keep it up !

Heh heh, kind of ironic that in Star Trek, the actual ships designed with three nacelles (the sticky out bits at the back) were warships for the Dominion War.

it's not actually the three nacelles that reminded me of the Star Trek space ships... it's the round bridge section. xD the Federation science vessel has a round globe for its front section so...

Its okay, I know =D I enjoy geeking out, myself - though admittedly I'm more a fan of the new Battlestar Galactica than star trek - but I have seen most of the Star Trek movies, and some of the original series.

I am ot a big fan of the original series or the movies... my main interest is in Star Trek Voyager. xD the some of TNG was good.

Never seen any of Voyager - and I have only seen one or two episodes of TNG. I've also been wanting to see Enterprise - because I am a fan of Scott Bakula. But yeah, I'm woefully behind ^.^

Enterprise started really strong but as soon as the whole scehem of Temporal Warfare became the main part of the storyline it got disappointing for me. heheh I tend to dislike stories that deal with time-traveling, because IMO it makes the story rather pointless if you can change what happened in the past.

Actually there were others.. the Federation Dreadnought in the TOS technical manual, and the future Enterprise D in "All Good Things" both had three. There were quite a few others as well, if you consider Star Fleet Battles/Star Fleet Command canon.

True....but when it comes to onscreen appearances, the dreadnought class of vessels in the dominion war showed up more often. Future Enterprise was a one off. But yeah, it also had 3. Well spotted.

I will start by saying that I was impressed and liked the Dragon Dance picture you did before posting these. I had followed your progress from the WIP concept to the finished piece. Its good to see someone else taking an
interest in doing a multi character piece with a heavy technical background. As impressive as that color picture is with its amazing detail etc. I chose this one as the fave among your recent posts. I really love well drawn humans interacting with anthro pictures, especially when the subject matter goes toward "first contact" scenarios. It may be an old plot line but the character designs and the way the ships are shown above looks very neat.
