Well..I was taught some basics on using flash--pretty frikkin' exciting stuff! On my own time, i'm thinking of making my own unsupervised later tonight..if i'm confident enough at the time.
I had the basic teachings by

Well, the breathing needs to be a little more detailed, your character seems to be shrinking and enlarging because of the type of breathing you used. Try to think of another way to make an illusion of him breathing.
I know this is only a tet, but you should practice on backgrounding as well. Might give you a better feel for scenery once done.
I like how simple the animation is for the meet, its cool looking like that. Also, if your character is moving from the breathing, why not blinking or something else?
Last thing is rough edges on the lines, but I don't know which version of flash you are using. CS edition (I think) fixes the edges like Illustrator does.
Keep going though!

Just gonna..reiterate while taking your advise. taking these into consideration, because YAY, CRITICISM, right?

I was only taught the basics of tweening, which lead to this. At this point in time, with the knowledge I have now, it's the first best thing until another method is is discovered..

That's an entirely different deal on its own. Here, i'm learning the deal of "movement". ATM, I don't even have a general stance on BG work drawing in general! In any other case, this would follow, but sure!

Blinking is simple enough for me to put in here on my own. I wasn't taught how to do it during the teaching, but for someone like me who's experienced enough working with animations outside of flash, it wasn't really prioritized enough for me to ask about it, since it's..well, simple.

Quick question--how many pixel arts have you seen? <:3c
