Good contrast and nice job making sure the left (viewer's right) eye is in focus. Check and see what your aperture was for this shot, and try going one stop down (one higher f-number) to try and make the depth of focus encompass both eyes. Because with that beautiful black fur, having both eyes in focus would really be dramatic!
