Like every evening before dinner Ryence took a swim in the little sea near the city. He liked the feeling of beeing surrounded by water and needed this element to live. But while he was swimming he saw the person starring at him. It might be his orange hair or his blue skin - but the look in the persons' eyes were different. No antipathy. No curiosity. Just... interest. When the Shuixia was done swimming he went out and tried to get a closer look at the unknown one.

Ryence is a Shuxia, created in a german role-play-game long, long time ago. This race live in the water but unlike mermans they got a human body. Two legs, two arms. Also they are not able to breath with gills, just able to hold their breath very long. Their need for water is in order to keep their skin wet. If not, they would dry out.
