The tall, graceful deer stepped out of his class, readjusting his small glasses on his muzzle before starting to walk down the school's corridors in long, confident steps, holding his books and notes against his side. As he turned the corner, he heard some commotion, several female voices talking agitatedly amongst themselves. When they saw him, they quickly ran to him in a pack, giving the handsome deer admiration-filled eyes. The shortest one, a black-haired feline girl, gave him a polite, bashful bow.
"Lonay-senpai! Thank god you're here! We need to figure out the disposition of the kiosks for the Winter Festival! Can you please assist us?"
The deer smiled graciously, making sparkles fly out of every girl's eyes. He softly slipped his glasses off, making his brown hair flutter some, folding the glasses and slipping them in his perfectly adjusted uniform's pocket. He slowly went through the papers he held, as every girl held their breath, ready to jump any time the deer would tell them to. Lonay Revvon was class president, leader of the debate team and straight-A student. He had answers to every question and gave them with kindness and generosity. There wasn't anyone in the school he hadn't helped in a way or another. He finally pulled out a sheet of paper, the group of girls gasping softly. He handed the paper to the short feline girl, who looked at it as if God's words were written on it.
"I've devised a map of the Celebration Hall, along a suggestion of where every kiosk could be. You can have it, and maybe it'll help you out."
The catgirl was almost crying, holding the piece of paper, giving the handsome stag a look of pure thankfulness. She bowed repeatedly, thanking her heart out, saying this disposition was perfect, before her and her group backed out of the deer's way. Lou had a soft, crystal-like laughter and wished them all a great day.
After turning a few other corners, he heard some more cries, his curiosity piqued as he decided to check out what was causing more girls to act out. After reaching a row of lockers, he finally understood what was going on, a light smirk slipping on his lips.
Leaned back against the lockers, surrounded by 4-5 female students, was a young skunk. Messy white hair, devil smile, his red necktie was loosely dropped onto his lightly frumpled, carelessly put on uniform. He was rolling a red lollipop on his tongue while the girls around him giggled and chattered to each other, giving the handsome skunk looks of pure adulation.
"Oooh, Saul-kun? Can you do it again? It's just so... so... cool!!"
Every girl loudly agreed, and the skunk let out a soft scoff, shaking his head softly as to gently make fun of the girls' infatuation, before agreeing. "Allright... one last time then." The girls loudly cheered, all their attention focused on the skunk as he held his pink tongue out, balancing the lollipop on it, releasing it and keeping it there, the females completely silent, absorbed in the contemplation of the skunk's skill. Grinning the whole time, he kept the lollipop balanced for a full five seconds before flickering it up, the red candy making a full turn and a half before Saul caught it in his mouth again, the girls squealing and cheering while Saul leaned back against the lockers, totally cool.
"Saul Sayerbail." The deer let out, the girls jumping up, blushing as they turned to face the deer. "Lonay-senpai!" They breathed out, all bowing in unisson as the deer walked closer. The skunk smirked and also walked past his fans, the two males standing face to face. "Lonay Revvon... I was wondering when I'd run into you." Lou gave him a soft smile, looking into those deep green eyes. "I thought you were going to East Madessa High this winter... Why are you here?" The skunk gently rolled the lollipop between his teeth, before popping it out, flipping it skillfully between his fingers. "I got transferred. You'll have to deal with me now, perfect boy."
There was no competition or ire in any of their words. Both looked like they had found an old friend with whom they had skipped stones years ago. The females were locked on the conversation, and other students had gathered to see what was going on between the most popular student and the school's new heart-throb. The deer's fingers slowly curled around the skunk's loose tie, Saul still grinning as he felt himself being tugged on gently, the deer muttering. "Oh, I'll deal with you allright, wild boy...". Their muzzles leaned softly towards each other, lips parted, and the two boys kissed.
Several female students had to be rushed over to the infirmary that day.
Tartii was so happy to draw this, I swear. I told her she could slip herself into the picture, and I also gave her a cameo in the story.
I've always liked the good boy / bad boy relationship, when the two are equally cool. Lou and Saul were always the perfect couple for this.

Even little details like "the disposition of the kiosks" caught my attention. Nicely done ^^.
By the way, I'm not sure if you got my note awhile back, but I thought I'd mention... I'm sure you're not hurting for people to collaborate on ideas with, but if you're interested sometime, I'd enjoy talking shop with you :)

Understandable, though I'm not necessarily thinking commission. I'd be happy to work together just on the basis of playing with ideas together, or perhaps something like what you usually do where you draft up a little story to go with someone's picture. I love your story snippets! But it can wait, definitely. I'm finishing up my senior thesis at the moment and barely have the spare brain power to remember to eat!
