This is the completely raw and unmixed version of Something for Halloween, which was originally inspired by a short story my friend Clint wrote.
Yeah, there are no lead guitars in this yet. It's 10pm and I'm tired and don't feel like wrestling with them because after the rhythm tracks, my hands fucking HURT.
I also didn't record the bass yet, because the bass is the last thing I do. It's also late and I don't play at night, what with the clicking and clacking of the strings and the waking of the neighbours who are asleep on the other side of my bedroom wall which is paper thin at best.
This is easily the hardest song I've ever written and I LOVE IT and I hope you do, too!
Something you should keep in mind while listening to this - there are a minimum of four guitars playing simultaneously at any given point in this song.
