hey, If i don't pass out blowing up an entire air mattress at a convention IRL on my own, he should be fine :P
(done it a few times now and that mattress can comfortably have up to 3 people sleep on it :P )

Have you ever heard of chloroprene (weather) balloons?

I heard they almost NEVER get fully tight when you sit on them, and will probably burst before they do.
BUT they are much stronger than latex balloons.

Yeah. But depending on your weight, I'd say inflate one weather balloon while it's inside another weather that's the same size.
(usually the internal balloon has to be bigger, but that's up to you)
