In the comic world nobody stays dead (exept for spiderman's uncle, and Batman parents)
Regarding Beast, he has never died (at least in the normal universe), for now
The problem with his cat form is the inconsistency... each artist draws Hank as they want (The version of S.W.O.R.D, is particularly disturbing.)

Beast in the main time-stream was safe and sound. But his other self in other reality was killed about 39 time (as far as I know). Sometime he just have 1 panel of a picture of him getting kill.
And yes everyone can come back to life even after his/her head getting chop off or explode into 1,000 piece.
