As I mentioned in my recert journal you may or may not (but probably not) have read, I'll be quite busy for the next three weeks. My holidays don't begin until December 14th, and every day until then will be spent working or studying, so I have no time to work on new artwork.
But to rememdy this and keep my watchers entertained until I can make my return, I decided I'd upload some of the older art that was drawn for me by people who are far more skilled in this area than myself. I'll check my hard drive daily for old artwork and if anything is good enough that isn't already here, I'll post it.
So to start us off, here's some VERY old art by the talented
BGArts who drew this lovely piece for me way back in early 2011, because I won her deviantART 33,333 pageviews contest. Many thanks again to Bell for hosting this and allowing me to compete :D
Now for some context here. This character is real ancient history as far as things go for me. Despite it being my username and most popular character, the Elite Beyra 'Kusovai was believe it or not, not my first OC made. She was my... fourth, if memory serves. But this was my second, and proabably one of my favourites. I just haven't drawn him much because god DAMM are Na'vi difficult to draw....
Anyway, this is Tukru Táftxuyu, another one of my very rarely seen male characters. The name translates from Na'vi as 'Spear Weaver' and no, that was not an intentional inneundo, I made the character when I was 17. But now that I'm more mature and have a filthy mind to boot, I can assure you that Tukru here has become pretty adept at 'Weaving' that 'spear' of his ;) as his grin no doubt implies. Though I created the character to be a sort of 'lone wolf', over time quite the opposite has happened...
Time for stats and info!

Yep, I actually have about... 3. Here are the other 2.
My very first OC (Made about a week after seeing the movie the first time. His appearance and personality are... as close to the real 'me' as you're likely to get with any of my OC's.) - http://fc00.deviantart.net/fs71/f/2....._by_BGArts.png
My second, is the above.
And my 3rd is... this guy http://fc00.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2.....li-d3l9fyc.jpg (He looks simmilar because he's the above character's brother)
Okay, time for backstory. I saw Avatar in 3D a couple days after it came out. I loved it, like having the legitimate Bum Reviews reaction "OOOOOOMYYYGOD this is the greatest film I've ever seen in my life!" (I was 17, shut up) and I got hooked on it. Every single week, I'd make a note to go see this. I kept up the habit every single saturday, I never got tired of it. I was just obsessed, I bought the merchendise, learned some of the language, all that crap. I even got involved in a group forum RP based on the movie, which lead me to create my first characters and get started role-playing, as well as drawing.
Now it becomes relevant. The last saturday, after I'd seen it about a dozen times, I couldn't go because a friend wanted to play warhammer with me. So I waited until sunday. And when I got there, they weren't playing the movie anymore (but that was like 3 months after it came out, so.. understandable.) In a sour mood, I went back home, listening to some Halo music on my MP3 player all the while. As I walked, I started throwing character ideas back and forth. Soon as I got home, I wrote a quick character backstory and... Beyra was 'born'. 3 years later, here we are. So while I accept that the movie isn't that "great" (in the fact that the story is generic and the acting lame at times) but moreso the effect the movie had in that it helped me to start drawing and creating characters means it holds a special place in my heart.
