The culmination of the three days in class spent on the subject of color. Each square is labeled on the back with what sort of color scheme it is, as per the assignment. Couldn't be bothered to make the edges nice... this was more rushed than I would have liked.
But ibex!
Fun fact: I picked the colors by numbering the grid as a times table and using the colors that I associate with the numbers. Lots of 2s and 4s come up with the 4x6 table, so there's a lot of green and red.

Alright, first the numbers:
1 - White, sometimes Light Gray, often Transparent
2 - Dark Saturated Blue
3 - Saturated Green
4 - Orange, just Orange
5 - Banana Yellow
6 - Maroon, but like, somewhat transparent
7 - Somewhere between faded Pink and Lavender
8 - Almost Black (like an 8-ball)
9 - Peach or Pink, shifts around a little
0 - Black like 8, but much more transparent

2 - Dark Saturated Blue
3 - Saturated Green
4 - Orange, just Orange

0 - Black like 8, but much more transparent
Huh, I don't perceive any differences in transparency. That's neat!
I agree with you on 1, 5, and 0, other than the transparency. :D
2 - green
3 - pink
4 - red
6 - purple
7 - green (warmer/more yellow than 2)
8 - blue
9 - orange (sweet potato-y, usually)
And then letters, most are kind of vague for me, but the vowels are consistent. A = green, E = yellow, I = white, O = blue, U = purple.

Very interesting. On one level, I'm fascinated, and trying to see the connections your brain makes between different colors and graphemes. On another, my brain is making its own connections, and making it difficult to see where your colors are coming from because they just look wrong to me. Frustration!! >:V
Most of the letters shift around for me too, which plays hell with my ability to remember names. About half the alphabet is consistent: A = Bright Yellow, B = Lighter Maroon, C = Light Teal, D = Dark blue, sometimes Black. E = Silver/Gray with that transparency, J = Solid Aqua/Green, I = White for me too! M = Red but with some Salmon mixed in, N = Close to M but more Orange in it, O = often Black/Transparent like 0, but gains a dark blue tint sometimes, R = darkish Orange, T = Black, S = almost Black with a hint of Blue.

Yeah, a fair number of the connections seem like they're derived from the words for colors (R is undeniably red for me, as is 4 with the R sound in it), but the rest? Maybe childhood exposure to those alphabet fridge magnets, but you have so many colors you wouldn't find with your average set of fridge magnets, heh.
The brain is a weird and wonderful thing!
