Well, sure your first creations weren't obviously no sergals but...you have to admit that this two look...a tiny bit like they could be relativese, but they are not!
And just to say another stupid thing. if sergals were hybrids...and this two as well...you could think they were just mixed up with another shark race wich would explain the nose, teeth and eyebrows...and color
Anyway, they are not related I guess...in any case it looks interessting

I should say they don't look like a shark :> There is no relatives, no inspire - I just up and do these. Long time ago they was pretty ugly and have lineament of rats. Now I changed them for a tiger a little. I mentioned about this here. With sergal there is one a big problem - people draw many fan-sergals and don't look at the original sergals. Of course, you can draw beast with a long 'shark' muzzle and etc, but please, turn back and check our Mick's art more attended. I think you discover to yourself exciting things. Also in the last time with shark the same things. And with another animal too.
Mick don't found arks resembling on sergals. So should I consider opinion of another people? No.

Please don't get me wrong I never wanted to say you created something similar, and yes now that you mention it they really look more tiger like. I have to agree with you that sergals differentiate alot from the original...even I made some changes.
I always reasoned this on some pictures Mick created, she drew some sergals with fur and a few with more feathers...even wings, so I conceded myself some small genetic amendments...not to mention those big ones I got when I mixed my character with the species my friend
designed.
And no you never need to consider other opinions as long as you don't copy stuff and even other artists say there is a critical similarity, but this would never happen I guess so nevermind.
It was just my own "insignificant" opinion to think that they may look similar >for me< but it was never an assumption!
So hope you didn't mind my questions ^__^`and thanks for the answer.

I understand you right and I don't trying to offend you C: Sorry if my comment looks agressive or something like this, my english is not fine x).
And I said about another people who like to say similiar thingm but in more stupid forms ("- You inspired by sergal", "- No", "- I'm sure you're inspired!")

Naa, you don't sound agressiv at all, maybe there is a hint of it. But that can happen and is understandable if presumable every
third noob comes up with a comment like "oh that totally looks like a sergal" or even "nonsense, that's a sergal I'm 100% sure"
that I said they may look a bit familiar is nothing special compared to that I know at least six other species wich could be roughly misstaken as sergals or at least relatives. But as you said, a char wich head has a shark like shape doesn't make a sergal!
