Sternguard everywhere!! :D the first models I bought for the army were actually sternguard and pedro, without realising that he gave them the rule haha!

Oh nice! Yeah hellfire rounds arnt to nice when your army relies on some big creatures with decent toughness :p (Tyranids)

in my 1500 I have 2 carnifexes, a hive tyant, a trygon and a tyrannofex XD

Ooh I did like using a Tyrannofex for a bit, the carnifexes in the new edition I feel have slightly lost a little bit of their lust but there ranged is still pretty snazzy.

Yeah oh well, bio plasma and twin linked devourers makes my carnifex worth it for me, I just wish they coulda knocked its save up to a 2+ or somethin.

also i always put him in a drop pod. with multi melts

haha his "point at the enemy and watch something explode trick" I usualy start him off with a squad of sternguard at the pack with some long ranges firepower so he can drop off his bombardment and then wander him off to another squad in a razorback depending where he's needed. he also works as a great distraction as people always seem to try and kill him other more important objectives haha!
