It had been a crazy day. Well... It started out normal, but now I'm fighting the King of Koopas over a deep treasure of mine. Crazy, right? Let's back up to how this all happened.
It was a normal morning for me. No treasure maps, no treasure hunting today, and lots of work. Yeah, life of a valley Koopa is not easy, but it has its upsides. I checked on my two youngin's to seeif they were okay. Their dad was in charge of feeding them before leaving for work, which he did. After their initial check-up, I went out for a little trip on my motorcycle.
The trip was just as you'd imagine it. Wind on my hair, my hat stuck on my head, and nothing but the road. Hehe. I said to myself, "This is going to be a beautiful day." Obviously, I was wrong, otherwise I wouldn't be in my current situation.
I stopped at the local market and decided to buy some groceries. But to my dismay, the Ullson Twins were around. The Ullson Twins are twin Koopas with the kind of body you'd find on the cover of a Hustler's magazine. If they'd lose the attitude, they'd be the best strip models in my book. Unfortunately... After I parked, they immediately started laughing and shouted at my direction.
"Hey, black shell! Nice wheels! Where'd you get 'em? From the tricycle section?" one Ullson Twin taunted.
I only rolled my eyes and carried on with my business. Luckily they don't get physical, otherwise my milk and eggs would be on the ground spoiled. Anyway, I did what I did and came out. Just as I was about to load-up and head out, the other twin came up for more taunts.
"So, Blacky. Find any treasures? Or did you lose your fly paper?" she taunted.
I again rolled my eyes and hopped on my bike. Not much of a business trip, but I did enjoy the trip home. As I entered the house, I noticed my door unlocked and my lamp that stood next to my couch was knocked over. But you'd think that's bad enough, right? Well... It got worse. When I got to my private study, my pendant was gone!
The pendant is a golden pendant worth 9,999,999 coins, but to me it was priceless. My mom got me that pendant when I was but an egg and when she died I decided to take care of it forever. It had been both my only memory of her, and my good luck charm. I personally don't believe in luck, but hey.
But I was so shocked when I saw the pendant missing. I nearly screamed. But of course, I help it back. "Who could have taken it?" I asked as I crawled on the floor, crying.
It was clear to me it was someone with a deep hatred toward me. But who did I find as an enemy? It struck me that it was Bowser. He's the most hated in all of the Mushroom Kingdom and he was definitely greedy. Though Wario was a different story, but he was out in his mine doing a race with Mario and Luigi.
I could only hope I wasn't too late. I grabbed my hammer, some collected power-ups, and my phone...to call a babysitter. Once the babysitter arrived, I left for Bowser's Castle at the Keep.
This is where the craziness begins too. I had to drive through a gulf full of seagulls, a mine field full of Bob-ombs, and met up with this nice couple of Goombas who had just the loveliest of kids. Ehehe. Sorry, random moment, random time.
Anyway, once I arrived at the Keep, I had a big welcome with some armored Koopatrols. Pfft. Such wimps. I crushed through their armor with a single smack of my hammer. But before I celebtrated, the gate rose and just when I was done with Koopatrols, there happened to be a whole army waiting for me.
After a massive tussle with a bunch of brainless dumbasses, I waltz through the castle, beating up a few Magikoopas and Hammer Bros on the way. I finally reached Bowser's throne room, ready to beat the living shit out of the big oaf if he had my pendant.
The doors creaked open and I ran in. Just as I thought, Bowser did have my pendant and was trying to sell it! "BOWSER!!!" I called out angrily.
Bowser turned and saw me. He seemed kind of surprised too. "Kion! How did you get here so fast?!" he asked.
"I ran, that's how. Now give me back my PENDANT!!!" I shouted, slamming my hammer down as if I was ready for a fight.
Bowser chuckled and cracked his knuckles. We stood there, ready for the biggest fight yet. He charged at me first. He readied his punch and thrusted it at me. I jumped up above him and slammed him down by stomping on his head. Once he was down, I readied my hammer to swing at him, but he recovered too quickly and punched me.
I slammed into the wall, dropping my hammer in the process, but I was able to recover quickly too. Without hesitating, I withdrawed into my shell and sped at him. The moment I made contact, I exploded on him, covering him in soot. I then landed on my feet exactly where I started. He was angry about me hitting him so he charged up his Flamethrower.
I once again withdrawed into my shell as he fired hs nasty breath at me, blocking the damage and heat easily. I got out of my shell too quickly as I was ground pounded by the big guy. His weight on my back really hurt. But I did survive thankfully. He then picked me up and punched me again, sending me across his throne. The guy was tougher than he looked, but I was tougher. Or at least I thought.
I pulled out a Fire Flower and used it, turning into Fire Kion. I jumped into the air and fired a few explosive Fireballs at Bowser. He was thrown back a little by the pressure which I took advantage of by firing more fireballs at him. Once he was down, I grabbed my hammer and ran at him, ready to finish him. But it was a trap.
He recovered in time to slash his claws at me, carving big scratch marks on my shell. He then slashed again, but I barely dodged. He did get my arm though. I backed away from him, my hat falling off in the process. My arm was bleeding, my shell seemed weak, and I could feel a headache from that punch from earlier.
Bowser laughed. "BWAHAHAHA! Looks like I've got you now!" he gloated as he managed to strike a hard punch at me. He then grabbed me, flipped in the air and slammed on top of me, crushing my shell. And that's pretty much where you found me. Bowser is behind me, readying a powerful flamethrower. I could barely hear him talking... Is this the end? Could it be the end for me?
