I'm going to CES in a few weeks - last year there were three or four manufacturers showing - I'm hoping there will be more of them this year. They are down to $500 if you dn't mind a certain... mmm.. amateurness to their construction.

Oh definitely - the Cube isn't really low end. It's more mid/high consumer grade. I like it because it's more professionally constructed and designed to be portable. I don't have a good sense of how much the cost of filament will be though.. it's very dependent on how you design and build the objects...

He still needs texturing in the face, hands and feet but the rest of his body will be covered in fur so I won't be sculpting any textures there.
