For lunarkeys of his growing, transforming snake lady character, Saris.
I thought it'd be a while 'till I drew again after SAI decided to bitch out and corrupt a commission file I was working on. >:T But inspiration didnt totally leave me.
The lil' gal on the left is the unfortunate victim who transforms into the snake gal on the right.
Quite a transformation, huh? :U

A lotta artists I know are all about the 'but dis artist is so much better than me', which I never really understood. While certainly, some artists have practiced their craft for longer than others, for me, it's about style. I might go to one artist when I'm like 'hey, gimme da pokemon ladies', or another for 'hey I need something cutesy and D'AWWWWW'.
And then it's like 'So who do you like to do your reptiles?', and I'm just 'dis lady right here'. Everything about your reptiles is just so damn perfect. The tint on the scales is perfect - especially the way you add in little scale patches, then the delightful merging between the vivid green scales and the softer ones on her chest and belly and along the underside of the tail. Of course, I should pause for the lip-biting 'DAT TAIL' moment, because lordy, your tails are so good. I'm totally biased, but yeah, just...only a handful of artists draw tails in such a way that make me want to throw money at the screen, and good lord your ability to do just that continues to impress me. You did it phenomenally the last time you drew Saris, you did it again, you did it when you turned Vempyremon into a luminari (and if you were open, I'd already be buying another commission of lumiV just because it was that good) Even the eyes...nay, especially the eyes - just offer such a piercing, hypnotic gaze, which is perfect for the character.
I am insanely excited about what you've managed to pull off with this character - and so are others! A handful of my good friends are capitvated by the character, and are incredibly happy with what you've managed to do with her. I totally look forward to buying more pictures of her in the future. :3
Of course, let's not discount the human, either! I know you did humans a fair bit more before you got into this silly fandom of ours, and your anatomy is still super strong. I'm glad that she started off exactly as I hoped - a lady adventurer, someone actually dressed for the occasion (I'm totally guilty of enjoying my silly cheesecake, but having a character who dresses normally does make for a great change of pace) The gear looks perfect on her (though I had a chuckle at the tightened vest - looks like she started off pretty well-endowed to begin with!) and nonchalant glance upon her face. 'Ho-hum, totally unaware that I'm about to get turned into an enormous snake goddess'.
So yep, phenomenal job overall, and give yourself a pat on the back. Whoo-hoo!

My god... I second DanteKageokami's comment.
You're truly the master of comments and always know how to make me squee. :U
How do you do it? >_>; I WANT to know how you do it.
Pure AMAZING. Just saying.
Thank you for the comment which is made out of pure badassery. <3

Is it a terrible thing that I look at the stance of the snake lady and think to myself, "...She must be an excellent glider."?
It probably is, and that's just my mind working around. ANYWAY.
Good to at least see the size difference between the two! And it has been a while since you've drawn humans, but your skill at drawing is pretty much like riding a bicycle: once you learn it, it's hard to forget about it.
BUT TAILS. God dammit. Still your ability to make curvy tails look seductive. AND SHE'S NOT EVEN DOING ANYTHING.
Much envy. But good job! :3
