If you made it in flash you can make it an animated avatar by going into publish settings and exporting it as an animated gif image. While in the options you can also shrink the size down a little to whatever it needs to be for this site. Hope that helps. xD

Yup! That's right! :)

stick the whole thing into a movie clip or tween and then size it down to the proper dimensions, select the "Animated Gif" tab in the publishing options and publish it. YOu might want to tweak the color settings but it should work out just right. Bear in mind you should open it in firefox/IE to see its proper framerate just opening the gif in somethign like windows picture and fax viewer will slow down the FPS.
