These have been done for a while but it's taken me a while to finally get pictures.
These are the new molds and some test casts for the new
hybridstudios silicone pawpads.
Picture 1: The pawpads were designed in a 3d modelling program by myself and then converted into molds by
kittspidox and printed out on our 3D printer.
Picture 2, 3, 4: Silicone was mixed, pigmented and degassed in a degassing chamber. The silicone was added to the molds and a layer of fleece was added as a backing - the fleece gives a surface suitable for these pads to be sewn onto fabric easily.
Picture 4: The new pawpads cut out and placed onto a fursuit paw - these ones still require a little more trimming and have not been sewn on as of yet, these are merely to show what the pads look like against fur.
These pawpads can be added to any fursuit if requested by the client for an additional charge, I will also be selling these in future but we are still calculating the material costs to determine a suitable price.
