I made this chocolate cake for my roommate 
Lexin .
She came back home from Thanksgiving break and she was clearly upset. I have one of those bodies that just reacts to negative energy and it hurts so much. It really does. Anyways, She was keeping to herself and the tension was thick in the air. So, I came up with the idea to bake her a cake. A chocolate cake. I quickly looked up some simple recipes and started cooking. I thought it was kinda cute that she was so upset and oblivious to what i was making. Finally I iced it (everything is homemade) and put strawberries all around it. I was going to leave it as that but i decided to cut little strips of strawberries and spelled "Happy B-Day" on the cake. Wanna know why? Because everyone should be happy on their birthday. <3
Lexin really liked her cake. She asked me to eat it with her. I. Do. Not. Like. Chocolate. But, i loves her so much that I ate half the cake with her.

It's okay, people give me weird looks and stuff when I tell them I don't like whipped cream or cool whip. It's just useless, flavorless fluff that's used to make small desserts look bigger than they really are. I always always always order my ice cream sundaes/shakes without whipped cream on top, because to me it's just an obstacle in the way of getting to the ice cream. I have never ever met a single person, who when asked the question, "What was your favorite part of that awesome sundae you just ate?", answered with "The whipped cream on top!"
