OHMYGOD i spent too much time on this and now i'm way behind on my animation and holy cow i'm going to be up all night for the next four days trying to finish it *GAAAAAAAAAAAASP*
But it was worth it |3 I regret nothing.
The "inked" version of my two page spread for the Courier of Thornmoth Forest (which I'm working on for graphic novels class) Its not the greatest. In fact, it could probably still use a LOT of work....
But I like it. And I feel its done enough that I can turn it in, and ignore it until my animation homework is done, because that is far more important (unfortunately :/)
Done mostly with the use of a layer mask and the marque and pen tools in photoshop. The trees are a mix of my own masking and clipping, and (in the case of the far ones) brushes, which can be found here [ v] While I do like the effect (and the assistance with the tangle of branches...) the brushed ones may change in the future to match the other ones more uniformly (also depending on any other edits made to the page)
