Well, Because of the emerald nuzzlocke challenge I was doing, I decided to write a story using Austin as the main character ^^
If people like it, I may continue it and write more.

Pokémon Emerald:
Austin’s Journey
Finally!! After hours of driving, I made it to my new home in Littleroot Town. My dad, Norman had made enough money to move us closer to the Petalburg City Gym. Being a gym leader doesn’t exactly rake in the big bucks, but we do alright.
As I walked inside, I saw the vigoroth hard at work, moving our furniture and other belongings inside. I ran upstairs to find everything all unpacked except for one box in the middle of the room. The box said it was from Dad. What could be inside? When I opened the box, I found a pokéball and a note inside. I picked up the note and read it.
“Dear Son,
Looks like you finally made it since you’re reading this. I hope you like living here. You’re going to make so many friends and meet all sorts on amazing pokémon. Remember the Poochyena I caught with you a while back? Consider it a birthday present from me. I can’t wait to see you when you get to the gym. I love you
Dad”
I smiled and tucked the note away in my jacket pocket. “Thanks Dad…” I took the pokéball and tossed it in the air. “Come on out Poochyena!” With a flash, the grey and black pup appeared before me. I knelt down and rubbed its head. “Hey there. My name’s Austin. We’re gonna be great friends.” Poochyena barked, wagging its tail.
Mom came into the room and saw me with Poochyena. She smiled and shook her head. “Normally, trainers start with a pokémon from Professor Birch. Oh well.” She giggled and petted Poochyena’s fur. “He is pretty cute though.”
Suddenly, I heard someone shouting for help just out of time. I ran to see what was happening. Stuck up in a tree was the professor. From the look of things, he ticked off some wild zigzagoon. They circled the tree, barking up at him. He looked over at me and called out. “Hey! You there! In my bag are three pokéballs. Take one and use it to get rid of these zigzagoon please! I’m kind of in trouble here…”
Choosing the first pokéball I saw, I tossed it into the fray. Out popped a small red and orange chick. It was Torchic, a fire type pokémon. Torchic jumped in amongst the zigzagoon and let out several tiny embers, scaring off the pokémon. Birch climbed down and dusted himself off. “Thanks. You handled yourself pretty well for a new trainer. Why don’t you come on back to my lab?”
I decided to take him up on his offer and head back to the lab.
“The way you commanded Torchic back there was really incredible. I think you two would make a great team. It already seems to be attached to you.” He added. The tiny chic was rubbing its head against my leg.
I smiled “Thanks very much Professor.” I Recalled Torchic into its pokéball and left the lab.
Mom was standing outside our home, her eyes showing signs that she was crying. “I can hardly believe it…you’re all grown up and setting out on your pokémon journey.” She smiled and hugged me. “I know you’ll go out there and be great. Make me proud sweetie.”
I smiled back and gave her a hug, my eyes also starting to well up with tears. “I love you mom. I’ll be sure to make you and Dad proud of me.”
“I know you will sweetie. Here. I already have your things packed, including a fresh pair of underwear, just in case.” She giggled, handing me the bag.
“Great…thanks.” I took the bag, blushing slightly. “Take care!”
After making my last good-byes, I took off for Petalburg City; Poochyena running closely behind me.
If people like it, I may continue it and write more.
